Sierra Wireless Linux 2.6 Driver Backport

The current Sierra Wireless driver for Linux 2.4 available on their knowledegbase is unsupported and does not work well or at all with never devices. This is a backport of their driver for the 2.6 kernel which has been verified to work with at least the Sierra Wireless Compass 889 on an embedded ARM CPU running uClinux.

FTDI SIO Linux 2.6 Driver Backport

The driver from the Linux 2.6 stable branch supports many more devices including the new multiport versions like the FT2232 which this driver has been tested against.
